GREENER PASTURES

Gone from this earth, but they live on in our hearts. We remember our old friends who have shared our lives and shaped who we are and what we do.

  • REMINISCING (Applevale Commander X Oklahoma Glory), Morgan mare, June 24,1980- October 30, 2009

  • DUNBARTON LADY, Scottish Terrier, 1982-1993

  • LAKEWOOD'S CHORUS GIRL, Cairn Terrier, 1981-1998

  • ROXY, Scottish Terrier, 1988-2001

  • A girl and her pony. Laura and "Prince", 1967.

This 1982 photo is of Jolie Baker Diltz (left) on her mare Macarico Lady Love (Mac D Tiger Mac X Park-Lea Cocoa) and Laura (right) on Jolie's stallion HLM Brandon (Devan Tip X Devan Amber). Being around Jolie's Morgans, with their wonderful temperaments and beauty, cemented Laura's love for the Morgan breed.

A rainbow that ended right in our (flooded) pasture- an incredible sight after the March 15, 2008 severe storms which brought hail and tornadoes to much of the Atlanta area.
